Terms of sale and use

1. The service

MakeYours creates an edit from your own footage in the style of a reference video you provide, or of a style you describe. It reproduces the text design, its animations and the matching sound effects; it never reproduces the person appearing in the reference.

2. Account

An account is required. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activity on your account.

3. Plans, credits and payment

Plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions, paid by card through Stripe. Each month your plan gives you credits; unused credits do not roll over.

An edit costs 250 credits (375 for footage over 60 seconds, 175 without a reference). The first 5 simple corrections of an edit are free, then 25 credits each; a full re-render requested as a correction costs 125 credits. Extra credit packs can be bought one-off.

Prices are in euros, VAT included. Subscriptions renew automatically; you can cancel anytime from your account, effective at the end of the current period.

4. Failures and credit refunds

If an edit or a correction fails, its credits are refunded automatically.

5. Right of withdrawal

The service delivers digital content whose performance starts when you launch an edit. By launching an edit you request immediate performance and acknowledge losing your right of withdrawal for that edit. For a subscription with no credit used, you may withdraw within 14 days of subscribing by writing to [contact email].

6. Your content

You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the videos, images, sounds and files you upload, including the reference video, and that their use does not infringe anyone's rights. You keep ownership of your content and of the edits; you only allow us to process them to provide the service.

Unlawful, hateful or violent content, sexual content involving minors, and content infringing someone's privacy or image rights are forbidden.

7. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the service available and the edits successful, without being able to guarantee it at all times. Processing times (usually 15 to 25 minutes) are indicative.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes will first be settled amicably; consumers may also refer to the consumer mediator: [mediator name and details].
